Founder and Principal Investigator
William Abramovits, M.D., board-certified dermatologist, is the founder and principal investigator of Dallas Research Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Abramovits is an internationally recognized dermatologist and has been practicing medicine for over 50 years. Dr. Abramovits completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1976 at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and his Dermatology Residency at the University of California in Los Angeles in 1979.
Dr. Abramovits purposely limits his practice to focus on medical dermatology and clinical research. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of some of the rarest and most complex skin, hair, scalp and nail disorders. His experience and training expertise in Internal Medicine and Dermatology, allows him to help patients with complex diseases and receives referrals from local colleagues and physicians from other states and countries.
Dr. Abramovits regularly lectures at prestigious international, national and state medical societies. He is the author and co-author of close to 200 articles in medical journals and textbooks, as well as he has published several books of his own. Due to his extensive involvement in clinical research, Dr. Abramovits is frequently invited to advisory board meetings by pharmaceutical, companies and medical devices manufacturers. Dr. Abramovits is passionate about dermatology, the well-being of his patients and the ability to offer conventional and investigational options of care.
